We are having a Chinese New Year party for my daughter this Saturday to celebrate her Chinese heritage. I'll post pictures, if I survive.

Hi Rhi ... I was so looking fwd to this weekend but instead got sick Thursday and now Jeff is sick, too. So all the meaningful New Moon Valentine's Day Chinese NY of the Tiger kicked my butt!I am doing my best to doctor myself and hoping it isn't pneumonia. I missed work Friday (dr's last day before he went on vacation) and now I have Monday off (which was to be a vacation time) 'til I go back and face the music Tuesday. I already called ahead to tell the other dr I won't be in that day. Damn it! It is getting me down ... I'm sorry to sound so whiny. It's scary, that's all, and life needs to be more than working!
But on a better note, I do hope you and your sweetie had a very nice weekend, that would make me very happy.
Jeff did give me a lovely card and a dozen pale yellow roses, my favorite. He is such a good guy. Tuffy has been pretty good and quiet for me, thankfully.
Well, sorry to be "negative" here, but I wanted to wish you a happy one and ask for you to think good thoughts of compassion and grace for me and Jeff, OK?
Love, Kyle xo
