Silent Shores....

Silent shores
are beckoning
as echoing souls
carry me away
drifting
into a smiling wave
that crashes
over me
into eternity
and sets me free.

Beautiful poem and excellent photo to go with it ... thanks, Rhi.
I also watched "Mental" last Fri to see David Carradine. It was strange, wasn't it, that he was catatonic thru the whole thing 'til the end. Thanks for letting me know about it.
I'm sitting here half awake attempting to get ready for work. Would like to stay home, that's for sure! Keep posting! I always check. Love, Kyle xo

This poem makes me yearn to be on an idyllic beach to free my soul to wander without a care in this world.

Yes, "sets me free."

There they are: dancing on the edge of sand and land, sea all around lush with color and purity -- happy just to be and not be in the same instant.

My day is brightened
