Robotic...poem

Robotic

People nonchalant...
casually
walking about...
never see faces
looking up to the sky
or the view
or even at faces
that pass them by...
all wrapped
in cellophane distance
formed in plastic
dis-ease
freeze
expressionless
monotone dialogue
warped
in slow motion doors
locked
by insensitive
shut down
dark halls
of emptiness

The fast paced of living leads to monotonous life... people don't stop to smell the roses until their roses are all gone.

Very nicely done. I have problem understanding poems but his one hits me with just one read.

Thank you for sharing. You are very talented.

PS: At 17, you created a picture of Jim so lifelike, it's inspirational.

Have a great weekend!

Sounds like the town I live in now, or they could all be pod people.
