Sadness pours over me
like waves
crashing in the sea
innocent young souls
gone
as the tide rolls
into eternity....
I'm asking myself
where
and when
did this country
go wrong?
For it seems
when it comes to guns
our rights and freedoms
to own them
over ride
any awakening dawn
to see reality
more clear...
so we do nothing
other then to grieve
and shed our tears.
But now it seems
these Spiritual lessons
are finally
right in our face
and these facts
we know in our hearts
can no longer be erased...
How ironic is it
that the name
of the school
is "The Sandy Hook Elementary School"?
Obviously
there is a huge spiritual lesson
coming from all of this
for all of us
to hear, see and feel....

The NY Times ran a story Monday as to how Newtown was having troubles with firearms. Seems folks were firing night and day -- much of it automatic fire-- and complaints to police who really couldn't do much about it were common. There is a substance called "tannerite" which explodes with much fanfare when struck by a bullet . This noise, and folks hitting propane tanks to blow them up , seemed to be common problems.
All I can say is that I am glad I live here where the crazies aren't!
